The snow-clad mountains,
Deep white, clam, and cold,
Smiling, so steady and strong.
To the far across,
As I can see,
As I can feel,
It’s tender softness
Layers the hostility.
To conquer it,
Beyond the life and death,
It’s stillness,
It’s lifeless,
It’s hard rock stones,
Cladded with mud here and there
And covered with snow.
The snowclad mountains,
Its beauty attracts,
And the nearer you go,
The more you see,
Stiffed air, stiffed smell,
And,
The embedded hardness of life.

THE SNOW CLAD-1
